The price for my time to undertake a job depends on the size of the job and its complication. I charge more for programming than for web design. These are approximate indications:- a single page with only the information that would appear on a business card: £50 - a single page with text and pictures, and modest design: £100 - a straightforward site of several pages, with its own distinctive design: £600 - an online shop, including site design: from £1,000 I arrange hosting of websites in the client's name for which the charge varies from £12 per year to perhaps £50 for more complicated sites. Domain names vary from about £4 to £8 per year.I am pleased to quote a firm price for a job. Alternatively I may be hired at my standard rate of £20 per hour. I do not charge VAT.
